JB Racing Lightweight aluminum flywheel replaces the stock single-mass flywheel using OEM clutch/pressure plate/throw-out bearing components as well as aftermarket direct replacements. These flywheels are engineered to improve vehicle performance by reducing both static weight and more importantly, the Moment of Inertia (MOI) characteristics of the OEM flywheel. By eliminating high percentages of parasitic weight and controlling its relative location, the engine is “freed-up” allowing it to “rev” much quicker, delivering more of the available engine power to the drive wheels which increases the acceleration rate and overall vehicle performance.
